Dr. James W. Kamman
I have a PhD in Applied Mechanics from the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Cincinnati. I was on the faculty in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Notre Dame from 1983-86, worked as a civilian employee for the US Navy in Panama City, FL from 1986-1992, and finished my career on the faculty in the Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Western Michigan University from 1992-2014.
My professional interests include numerical modeling of the dynamics and control of multibody systems.
